Greeters

We are seeking dynamic, energetic, organized, self-motivated and conscientious individuals, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to help welcome and provide a meaningful initial experience for visitors and new members to There. These individuals will also be responsible for supporting several initial experience functions and programs. Must be very enthusiastic and familiar with the There service, as well as the massively multiplayer online genre.

These are temporary, entry-level positions, and will be paid an hourly wage. The position requires 30-hours per week for a term of 6-months. As temporary employees, the Greeters will not be eligible to participate in the company’s benefit programs. Greeters will report to the Community Manager.

Responsibilities:

	Proactively greet, assist and acclimate visitors and new members to the There environment. How to: Personalize, Explore, Meet People, Play, Shop, Own, Create and find Help.

	Conduct warm orientation events

	Support There and member created clubs and programs aimed at supporting and improving the initial member experience.

	Respond to abuse-related issues in new member landing zones – trained in abuse management guidelines, processes and tools.

	Contribute to the definition of product and feature requirements based on experience and visitor/member feedback.

	Provide regular status reports, to include a summary of key issues, activities, trends, opportunities, etc.

Qualifications:

	Must be very enthusiastic and familiar with the There service, as well as the massively multiplayer online genre.

	Successful experience working as part of Community or support teams a plus.

	Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, along with a professional attitude.

	Proficient user of Windows (98, ME, 2000, XP).

	Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
